More Vacation Photos

Fish, fish and more fish.. The Caribbean Sea was a great place to go snorkeling. Our guide took us through corral reefs with hundreds of fish. We also saw a stingray.
After snorkeling we stopped at a beach and the boys played soccer and Sam decided to bust a move. He’s got mad skills!!

We took a short road trip to Tulum, the walled city. The beach and view from the bluff facing the rising sun looking out on views of the Caribbean left us speechless. We were able to walk down to the beach and cool off in the sea. Afterwards we walked around and took pictures of the ancient ruins.

We spent the day at Isla Mujeres. It is a small island town a short distance off the northeast coast of the Yucatán Peninsula in the Caribbean Sea. Isla Mujeres is less then 5 miles long. This is where we rented scooters and drove around the island. Sam was a good sport and let me drive him around. Prior to renting the guy who rented the scooter to us made the comment that girls don't drive. I was quick at giving the evil eye to his joke.

Chichen Itza Blowout!!!

Here are a few of the amazing sites that we were able visit during our trip to Mexico. Chichen Itza, the ancient Mayan capital, is truly an incredible place to visit. It was really cool to see all of the amazing ruins and to ponder on what this great city was like during its prime. Jessica sure looked cute in her Mayan Yucatan winter collection.

Oh, Yes Vacation!

This is Sam pre-vacation! He rarely left the house and worked around the clock in our home office. It was high time to get him into a new setting and wardrobe.

This is our second day on vacation. It was hard I tell ya, enjoying the sun, beach, and pool. Life at it's worst....
We had great company to enjoy the misery. Adam and Audrey were troopers. Good company and vacation on the beach what could beat that?

On our last day Sam tried out some new hairstyles just for kicks! He was a great sport..

Adam and Sam put on a show with their dance moves. Quite funny to watch!! That was the best way to end a vacation.

Our Celebration of the new year!

December 31, 2008 was spent with family. Xcaret was a great way to spend that last day of 2008. We went through a underground river with life jackets. We were able to see turtles, dolphins, stingrays, and many other sea life as we walked through the park. Adam was great with the birds, he got to hold one like a baby while the other sat on his shoulder. At the end of the day we watched a cultural presentation about Mexico.

On the Dock

Yes it's the newest series of "Chips"

Sam claims he is the new star in the TV series of "Chips". For those unfamiliar it has to do with motorcycle cops. He thought he was quite smooth and kept trying to give me kisses with the helmets on.

Vacations books finished

It is wonderful to have time to just sit down and read a good book. Since the beginning of the month I have finished these three books. I am now on to the fourth book. While Sam is working non stop I am filling my time with work and enjoying my quite time with my nose in a book.
