Sam was asked by a few people to join Facebook. Well he broke down last night and joined.
Sam's Wish List
So we decided to venture out on President's Day, looking for some awesome furniture sales. Well all I can say is we couldn't find any sales. Sam did find this collection of wants. He finally found a coffee table to suit our needs and he fell in love with the bedroom furniture. Due to no sales there was in turn no rush to purchase.
Pre Valentines
My amazing husband made plans ahead of time. Our tradition is to have a night out the night before Valentines which is what we did last night. We went to Portland's Culinary Institute for a 5 course meal. It was great! This tradition works out great and the restaurants are less crowded! We usually follow this up with a nice quite, romantic dinner at home on Valentines Day. This has been a fun way for us to enjoy spending time together.
Fun cakes
Ace of Cakes is on Food Network. The company is Charm City Cakes, they have tons of fun and make some funky cakes.
This weekend is valentine's day!!
Man alive some people are very creative. I just love all these pictures. Can't say that my husband will be receiving any of these things but it's the thought that counts right? Remember all your loved ones this year and do something special!
This weekends adventure
Sam planned a speacial evening to stay at Skamania Lodge. The next day we relived when he proposed, we hiked up Wahkeena Falls to Fairy Falls.. There was snow pack on part of the trail which made it a little more fun this time. Man it rained like crazy the last time we hiked the trail. It was a great weekend retreat with my sweet husband.
My wish list..
These are the start of my wish list. Sam in his bachelor years bought a vacuum. The wining one was bought due to the name "Big Cup". Since being married and using this vacuum I truly give it a big thumbs down. Hey, it's a vacuum at least we have one right?
Bedroom furniture is just a suggestion of a want. I don't truly need to have them to live or be happy, just thinking it would be nice to have. It's a start at making our home look and feel like a place you truly want to be, not just a place to crash.
Our 1st Year
Tomorrow is our anniversary. I can't believe it! We've had a great time!
We've had a lot of adventures from spending time close to home or taking a plane to our destination. Sam is a great sport and loves to make funny faces to make me laugh.
